Who We Are

Our History

NAMI CDA is one of over 600 local affiliates of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.  NAMI started as a small group of families gathered around a kitchen table in 1979, and has blossomed into the nation's leading voice on mental health.

NAMI CDA was founded in 2000 and for over 25 years has worked in our community to raise awareness and provide support and education around mental illness that was not previously available to those in need.

Our Mission

NAMI CDA is dedicated to providing support and education for individuals affected by mental illness. We strive to promote mental health awareness and advocate for better mental health policies in our community.

What We Do

NAMI CDA provides support groups and social activities for people affected by mental illness.  We also share information about resources that are available in our community.
